*Passes the trigger test! However, is a sex scene in which a man starts to make out with another man, The other man seems resisitant at first, and pushes him away, but then wants the situation to proceed. Some may be disturbed by this initial resistance.

*Passes the trigger test!

Memoirs of a Geisha (PG-13) (2005) (Ziyi Zhang, Michelle Yeoh)
*Fails the trigger test.

*Passes the trigger test! However, for those that are sensitive to such scenes, this movie does include scenes of abduction and torture (non-sexual) of an adult male.

AEON FLUX (2005) (Charlize Theron, Martin Csokas) (PG-13)
*Passes the trigger test! However, during an exam, a woman isartificially impregnated. I’m not sure if this is her wish or if she even knows what’s going on. The scene has potential to disturb viewers, so be careful.

FIRST DESCENT (2005) (Documentary) (PG-13)
*Passes the trigger test!

THE SQUID AND THE WHALE (2005) (Jeff Daniels, Laura Linney) (R)
*Fails the trigger test.

THE ICE HARVEST (2005) (John Cusack, Billy Bob Thornton) (R)
*Passes the trigger test! However, this seems to be a pretty skanky movie with some scenes in a strip club that are borderline (involves a man touching a stripper while she dances- she may or may not be OK with it. If anyone sees this and finds out, let me know please!).

In the Mix (PG-13) (2005) (Usher, Emmanuelle Chriqui)
*Passes the trigger test! However, for those that are senisitive to such scenes, a woman is bound, gagged and held hostage, but nothing sexual happens.

JUST FRIENDS (2005) (Ryan Reynolds, Amy Smart) (PG-13)
*Passes the trigger test! However, there’s ascene in which a woman shoots a taser at a man’s crotch. I’m not sure if this is a violent act though- the scene was described as if it could have been a strange form of sex play.
